As in most countries, exchange rates at airport kiosks are less favorable than those in the city center. Instead of exchanging most of your money at the airport, change only a modest amount there—around €150—then exchange the rest in the city. You can use exchange offices, which are commonly found in tourist areas, or visit any bank branch. Both typically display their buy and sell rates clearly. You may also withdraw cash using your credit or debit card at bank ATMs; however, be sure to check the applicable exchange rate and fees, as banks often offer less favorable rates.
