I enjoy traveling and have visited many countries around the world—from China to the United States, Russia to South Africa, and across the Middle East and Europe.

As most of my trips were business-related, I often had the opportunity to spend time with local colleagues, which gave me valuable, first-hand insights into each destination.

With the rise of social media, I’ve noticed a lot of misleading information being shared online—often by well-meaning tourists. For example, not everyone needs to try pickle juice; locals don’t drink it daily, monthly, or even yearly. The same goes for apple tea. I’m 45 years old, and the last time I had apple tea was more than twenty years ago.

There are restaurants with stunning views where you might pay €200, while just a short distance away you

can enjoy the same view and quality for €40.
